key photograph no 2

My initial plan for this photograph was to find a shot that the arm was straight and the gun pointed straight ahead. Also I wanted the shirt sleeve not to be in the photo, so just the arm and the gun was needed. The set up for this photo was i first was going to take the photo without the tripod, but however remembered that using a tripod takes more professorially photos.

I selected this photograph out of the others, as the arm was straight, the gun was pointed straight and the  actors t-shirt wasn't showing. Also only showing the arm and the gun makes the gunman a mystery. This photo was suitable for the DVD/Poster as it shows that there's guns involved, however it makes the point that others life's could be at risk as the gunman could be pointing the gun at someone.

The process of editing this photo was quite simple, as i played through all the image settings and made my decision there. I darkened the background a-bit to make the arm and gun stand out more. I made the actors arm seem a-bit more colored as to the original photo. I also lightened the gun, as the original photo the gun was to dark to see all the details. Also I used auto tone, contrast and color to add to the finishing touches.

I was very pleased with the overall photograph as the colors turned out well and the lighting made the picture seem more professional and look better in general. Also the resolution of the picture was very good as you can see all the details within the picture.
